IDOP to partner with NHS Diabetes: The Midlands Regional Conference
In close partnership working, IDOP has been funded by NHS Diabetes to establish an English national network of Regional Champions, each supported by a dedicated Network Coordinator and Regional Working Group.
This is an exciting opportunity to increase the emphasis on high-quality diabetes care and to look at care pathway development and supporting local health priorities in older people with diabetes. The project will be managed by Julian Backhouse from NHS Diabetes and Professor Alan Sinclair will chair the National Steering Group which is overseeing the project. A number of key regional conferences are being planned for March 2012:
